Abstract
A regional financial institution managing $45 billion in assets faced challenges in standardizing and optimizing its quality assurance processes across an extensive application portfolio. Dispersed functional, regression, and automation testing created inefficiencies, extended release cycles, and limited test coverage. Leadership aimed to consolidate testing into a centralized Test Center of Excellence (TCoE) to reduce effort, enhance automation, accelerate releases, and improve end-user experience, while maintaining regulatory compliance. Achieving this transformation demanded both technological innovation and organizational change. The pressing question remained—how could a sustainable, scalable testing ecosystem be implemented to meet these ambitious goals?
