Abstract
A US West Coast wholesale bank faced inefficiencies with its legacy Selenium BDD testing framework. Time-intensive locator management and an overly complex code structure led to prolonged testing cycles, delayed releases, and increased technical debt, limiting comprehensive test coverage. Minor application changes demanded extensive manual updates, diverting valuable resources from strategic tasks. With the Bank’s development process bottlenecked and quality assurance under pressure, the challenge was clear: how could Opteamix reimagine the testing framework to streamline automation, reduce maintenance overhead, and accelerate release cycles while enhancing system reliability and team productivity?
