Abstract
The Client, a technology company led by mortgage experts, sought to modernize the US mortgage loan origination process. Facing complex regulatory requirements, workflow inefficiencies, and fragmented systems, banks needed faster, compliant, and cost-effective solutions. The Client aimed to design an integrated LOS that combined CRM, origination, underwriting, processing, closing, funding, and investor delivery. Key objectives included reducing loan processing time by 40%, enhancing data integrity through automated validations, enabling omnichannel access, and supporting intelligent automation for Loan Officers, Processors, and Underwriters. The system was designed for scalability, ease of maintenance, and to be marketed as a product to other lending institutions.
